Compostable cold cups are made from plant-based PLA instead of oil-based plastic. They look and feel like clear plastic cups, so iced coffee, smoothies, bubble tea, juices and cocktails still show their colours, but they are designed to break down in industrial composting facilities. For cafes and juice bars with green commitments, they are an easy visible switch.
Sizes
We supply compostable cold cups in 7oz and 9oz for samples and kids’ drinks, 12oz and 16oz for standard iced drinks, and 20oz, 24oz, 32oz and 44oz for large smoothies and party drinks. Matching compostable flat lids and dome lids with straw holes are available, along with paper straws to complete a plastic-free setup.
Printing and disposal messaging
Your logo can be printed in one or more colours on the cup wall. We recommend adding a short disposal note such as ‘Industrially compostable’ so customers and staff put used cups in the right bin, because compostable cups need commercial composting rather than a home compost heap or plastic recycling.
