As a rule of thumb, small and light products sit happily in cardstock, while anything heavy, fragile or shipped by courier is safer in corrugated. Want a premium feel? Rigid board is the answer. We are happy to advise on thickness for your exact product.

Already have a designer? Great. Ask us for the dieline (the flat template of your box) and use these simple rules so your print comes out sharp and in the right place.
- Design on the dieline we send, one layer for artwork and one for the cut lines
- Add 3 mm (1/8 inch) bleed past every cut edge
- Keep text and logos at least 3 mm inside the fold and cut lines
- Use images at 300 DPI at full print size
- Set colours in CMYK, or give Pantone references for exact brand colours
- Send logos as vector files and convert fonts to outlines
- Export as a print-ready PDF, AI or EPS file

What is the difference between a mailer box and a shipping box?
A mailer box is a self-locking corrugated box designed to look good on arrival, so it is usually fully printed and is the go-to choice for e-commerce and subscriptions. A shipping box is a plain or simply printed carton built mainly for strength and volume, often used for bulk or heavy items.
How do I know what size box I need?
Measure the inside space your product needs as length x width x depth, adding a little room for any insert or wrapping. Send us those measurements, or the product itself in a photo with a ruler, and we will size the dieline for you.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Minimums depend on the box style and material. Many styles can be produced in short runs, and the unit price drops as quantity goes up. Tell us the quantity you have in mind and we will quote the best option.
How much do custom boxes cost?

Do you offer free design support?
Yes. Every order includes help with the dieline, artwork layout and a 3D mockup, at no extra cost.
Will I see a proof before printing?

Can you print on the inside of the box?
Yes. You can print outside only, inside only or both. Inside printing is a great place for a thank-you message, a pattern or a QR code.
Can I order a sample first?
Yes, ask in your quote request and we will advise on sample options for your box style before you commit to a full run.
How long does production take?
Production starts once you approve the proof. The exact timing depends on the style, finishes and quantity, and is confirmed in your quote. If you have a launch date, tell us and we will plan around it.
Are your boxes eco-friendly?

What file formats do you accept?
