Metalized Boxes

Metalized board gives a reflective finish that ordinary print cannot match. We print over gold, silver or holographic surfaces and leave chosen areas unprinted so the metal shines through. It is a striking option for festive editions, cosmetics and any product that needs to stand out.

What are metalized boxes?

Metalized boxes are printed on paperboard that has a thin metallic layer bonded to its surface, giving the whole box a mirror-like gold, silver or holographic shine. Unlike foil stamping, which adds metal to small areas, metalized board makes the entire surface reflective, creating a bold, eye-catching look on shelves and in photos.

How printing on metalized board works

We print colours over the metallic board and leave chosen areas unprinted or use a white underlay so some elements look metallic and others look solid. This lets you create effects such as shining logos, metallic patterns and glowing edges at a lower cost than full-coverage foil stamping, and the effect is consistent across every box.

Popular uses

Metalized boxes are popular for cosmetics and fragrance, festive and limited editions, confectionery, vape and CBD products, electronics accessories and luxury gifts. Gold suits premium and celebratory products, silver feels modern and technical, and holographic board appeals to younger audiences and beauty brands.
